This uncomplicated and joyful Fantasy is intended for children performers of intermediate level.

The famous Ode to Joy theme is preceeded by an introduction and followed by 9 variations (4 are novel, 5 are arranged from Beethoven's Ninth Symphony).

The clarinet part may be played on the alto saxophone in the seventh variation and the percussion part is optional.
